i. Logo Assignment
ii. Layers & Line Weights Assignment
i. The logo assignment was done in Canva (see picture). The goal was to get creative and make a personalized logo for ourselves. I choose to make mine all about fashion as that's what interests me. My logo was made with a fashion icon of a woman but I would also like to be able to add mens fashion into the profession. I also made a personalized slogan on the same platform to go with my logo.
ii. The layers & line weights assignment was done on the platform of AutoCAD. It was a starter assignment for a project that's in the making. The assignment was a guide as to what layers we are going to need and how thick each line will be on each layer. The assignment was a good intro into how the platform works.

FACS 243 Digital Drafting I
The Hawthorne House, built in 1932, is a modified American Four-Square with original hardwood floors and 10'-0" ceilings. Working from a PDF floor plan provided by my professor, I created an as-built drawing of the home in AutoCad then transformed it into an upscale ladies' clothing boutique. I added an ADA-compliant restroom and changing room and provided product displays throughout the space. I used images of the original pdfs for viewing but the original pdf styles are attached towards the end.

Elevations, Drawn on AutoCad
To aid the owner and contractor in realizing my design of goals for the transformation of the Hawthorne House from a residence to an upscale ladies' clothing boutique, I drew two elevations of my custom product display cabinetry. These showcase shoes & boots, blouses, and jackets. The first cabinet has an inspirational sign at the top, a mirror in the center for trying on items (shoes, jackets, etc.), and a pull out drawer. The second cabinet has a pull out draw as well, and has a plastic model modeling the latest brands of clothing.
